The Missing Touch

This piece expresses missing the touch of loved ones during the Covid Pandemic. For several families, including my own, we had to “refuse” the feeling of togetherness, to keep ourselves and others safe. In “The Missing Touch” I used a wide variety of colors, warm to cold, resembling the mixed emotions we felt during this time. Life brings many moments of refusal, where standing up for what is best can be difficult, and having to refuse seeing people you love for months creates a lot of emotion.
