Wild Hog is a hat design company that’s rethinking how patches work. Instead of regular glued-on patches, we're creating magnetic ones that snap on and off. This lets people switch out patches and wear a different look with the same hat. The brand has an industrial vibe but also keeps things fun and quirky.
My Process
I started by sketching a bunch of mascot ideas. I was exploring different illustration styles to see what would best represent the brand. I liked the idea of a hog wearing a Wild Hog hat, but I needed to figure out the right pose and facial expression.
first design round
After sketching, I brought the drawings into Illustrator and made my first design. I showed it to a few friends, but it didn’t really capture the feeling I was going for. So, I went back to the drawing board and came up with a new version keeping it simple, but still stand out.
