My goal for this project was to create an eye-catching design by seamlessly integrating typography with photography. I aimed to find the perfect image to complement the composition and enhance the overall visual impact.
My Process
The design process began with creating a mood board to establish the overall color palette, imagery, and aesthetic direction. This helped define the visual tone and feel of the project.
Sketches
I developed sketches for both the event poster and tickets, exploring different layouts and compositions.
Laying things out
In the initial iteration, I focused on integrating the text with the dancer, experimenting with dynamic interactions between typography and movement. While I was pleased with the direction, I realized the typography needed further refinement to create a more open and balanced composition—one that truly allows the dancer’s artistry to take center stage.
